One Ass To Risk Shoulder Patch by Ramik Enterprises

SKU 18-1ATRPATCH
Butch Ramik's famous 1*/ logo is embodied in this high-quality embroidered patch. Rapidly becoming the defacto symbol of law enforcement special operations, the 1*/ logo is steeped in heraldry:

1 stands for you, the officer.
* stands for "Ass to risk"
/ is the thin blue line of law enforcement

So, it means "You have one ass to risk for the thin blue line" when read as a symbol.

Now available in 2 colors:
  • Blue for law enforcement
  • Tan for use on DCU/ACU/MARPAT gear
All patches are made with a heat seal back for iron-on application!
This patch is 100% embroidered, not cheap twill with fill threads, and with a fully merrowed edge for a clean, quality appearance. Measures roughly 3" tall. Get one for every officer, every gear bag, and any other place you can sew a patch on!

i like these last few comments this is a review page not a gripe section but just for you all to know if you want a ems color at least request the real one - thin white line on blue back- i love this design - were it with pride color dont matter we wear it for the same reason and we all have the same goal just different paths to get there - Orange was already given to the constables just FYI

as a firefighter and medic i personally love this design - sums it up in 1 symbol as for the statements about ems being forgotten cause in my opinion you cant have 1 without the other - but on a side note EMS is not mentioned in the Trade Centers attack on 9-11-01 is because our brothers and sisters in NY run their EMS out of the Fire Dept. so they are forgotten just counted in with the firefighters cause they were part of the same dept. -

Fun to buy for posers, if you need a patch to be an operator, you are missing the point

I think these are great. Im on SRT for the army and since we have our own uniforms and military has patches for the unit you are in, we have adopted this as our patch. I've looked everywhere locally to make us some patches but they all will only take orders of 100 or more. Im bringing this to the team tomorrow and we will plan on ordering them. As for all the bickering... yeah im not really sure thats all neccessary. The last two posts said it very well.

I looked at the reviews expecting to see professionals making comments about the product. Instead all I see are pukes without honor whining and crying about being left out or overlooked. This is a prime example of self centered egotistical "what have you done for me lately" brats. The time that you have wasted here could have been spent writing the company and requesting the product you need. To actually have a rivalry between police fire and medics is pathetic. We all need the other! One service is not able to get the job done alone. One is not better than the other. Each one has its perks and its pitfalls. Show me a firefighter that can set up a drug raid and not get any officers killed. Show me a police officer that can put a fire out and save the surrounding houses. Show me either one that can do the medics job and handle that responsibility. It takes all of us to get the job done and done right. Appreciate each other. You need the other services. If you are that jealous of the other then perhaps you chose the wrong profession. If this is the only place you have to air your ignorance I suggest you seek counseling, they get paid to listen to your whining. Completely takes away from the point of the product. Bottom line shut you pie holes.
