The Widder System 2 Electric Heated Vest is the core of the Widder Lectric Heat system. After nearly 30 years of design experience, Widder has proven themselves the true leader in the heated motorcycle clothing industry. The newly redesigned System 2 vest is the most advanced heated garment on the market today. Featuring an ultralight Thinsulate lining, windproof 600 Denier nylon outshell, and a soft tafetta liner, the System 2 is light, small, and extremely warm. Adding to the warmth is a heated electric collar.
These lightweight fabrics mean that the vest takes up less room in your saddlebag, fits better under your riding jacket, and heats more efficiently. Another key feature of the System 2 vest is the built-in attachment for the Widder Heated Arm Chaps system, which takes the warmth and extends it to your arms for full-torso comfort.
Widder Sizing Tip: Measure the fullest part of your chest and the fullest part of your belly. If the chest is larger than the belly by at least 3", order the same size as the chest. If the chest is LESS than 3" larger than the belly, upsize the vest to allow for a 3" difference between the chest and belly. If the belly is larger than the chest, add 3" to the belly measurement for your vest size. Widder vests have a 3" taper between the chest and the belly. DOUBLE AND TRIPLE CHECK THESE MEASUREMENTS AS YOU CANNOT RETURN ELECTRICS!

Widder vests are designed to have a snug fit for optimal performance. For this reason, they will run smaller than most garments of the same labeled size. They also incorporate a standard taper, which means the waist is smaller than the chest. Measurements are taken around the fullest part of the chest up under the armpits.

Widder is a great vest, be sure to size correctly for best heat transfer. Really like the heated collar. I would score it 5 stars if it were better tapered for my build. HS had the best deal on the net...anywhere!
